The project began with a collaborative discovery effort in order to fully understand UHCU’s goals and business needs, determine current site challenges, perform a thorough audience analysis, and map out how to improve the existing experience. The team then developed creative and technological solutions to support these discovery findings.
“We examined the behavior of our online users and their ability to accomplish what they came to do on our website, which brought up opportunities for improvement,” says Kevin Farley, UHCU’s AVP of Digital & Brand Experience. “The newly relaunched experience is a huge leap forward. Features that both current and future members will notice as part of UHCU’s new site include an expanded ability to learn about products such as home and auto loans, the implementation of the latest technologies that modern web users come to expect, as well as content personalization and other personal touches that promote UHCU’s core philosophy of "People Helping People."
