Congratulations to BlueModus Director of Development Nick Bushnell, who recently passed his Kentico 12 Certified Marketer Exam. This is the second Kentico Certification that Nick has earned, as he renewed his Kentico Developer Certification this past June.

The Kentico 12 Certified Marketer Exam is an online 90-minute exam made up of of 50 multiple choice questions. To be successful, test takers need to demonstrate both their practical experience using the product and their knowledge of Kentico’s features and functionality. Some of the many topics to know include contact segmentation (such as contact groups, personas, and scoring), email marketing, campaigns, content personalization, conversions, content optimization using both A/B and MVT testing, web analytics, contact management and activity tracking, marketing automation, content marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), and pay-per-click (PPC).
"It was very beneficial for me to study up on the marketing features of Kentico EMS, and I can see using this knowledge when I work on future projects,” shares Nick. “As a platform, there is so much you can do out of the box. Learning about some modules I had not encountered before was interesting. For example, I had not tried out the A/B testing for emails which is a powerful feature. Also, I learned how Contacts could have roles assigned within an Account, which is an important function allowing marketers to know and classify their audience.”
