BlueModus Team Attends Kentico Connection 2018

Earlier this month, Kentico Connection made a stop in Chicago, where BlueModus colleagues were in attendance, and even making presentations. The annual conference, which brings the Kentico community together to share knowledge, experience, and ideas, included a session from our CTO Dave Conder, entitled "Going Headless - Embracing a Content-First Approach.” BlueModus was also represented at the two-day event by Senior Director of Strategic Solutions Brant Cline, Associate Solution Lead Mark Wilson, and Director of Strategic Solutions Brad Rockwood.

As the #1 Global Kentico Solution Partner, our BlueModus team prioritizes staying at the forefront of what the Kentico platform has to offer, and attending events such as this one assist our team in that goal.

“The knowledge and insights I received during the opening night’s talks alone made it worth the trip,“ noted Brad Rockwood, “Kentico has definitely distinguished itself as a leader in our industry, not a follower.”

Brant Cline adds, “The conference helped solidify the company’s commitment to staying on top of the most fundamental shifts in digital content and experience technology, as well as understanding the core goals of their platform. I think they also reiterated the importance of partners like BlueModus in navigating clients through these transitions and providing the thought leadership that will ensure Kentico is leveraged to the greatest potential for each client’s success.”

In addition to presenting its strategic vision, Kentico used the Connection conference to educate attendees on the exciting future of Kentico 12, which will be adopting a new MVC development model, as well as the latest updates to its Kentico Cloud product.

“I was really impressed with the new features and functionality on display with Kentico Cloud,” says Mark Wilson. “Being able to centralize your content management and distribution across multiple channels, platforms, and services is the next big step forward in digital marketing. Kentico Cloud does a great job of breaking down silos within teams to create a truly collaborative space.”

“I am also extremely pleased with Kentico’s continued adoption and support of that development model, as someone who used Kentico MVC since its initial introduction,” Mark continues. “The Page Builder functionality in particular is a huge addition that will extend a ton of functionality and feature friendliness to the end user while still giving developers the speed and flexibility of the MVC framework.”
