BlueModus is extremely honored to announce that our project for RILA (Retail Industry Leaders Association) has been named a Site of the Year 2019 Winner by Kentico, in the category of “Best NGO and Associations”. Kentico’s annual contest is a recognition of excellence in the web industry and selects the best projects created on the Kentico platform each year.
As the industry advocate and trade association for leading retailers throughout the United States, RILA promotes operational excellence and innovation. Its website needs to serve as a resource to promote their mission, activities, and priorities, as well as promote the value of RILA membership, and allow it members to connect with each other. With a site design that was outdated and did not align with its audience’s needs, RILA required a fresh design and architecture, but also a more flexible experience for its own content editors. The existing site also struggled in terms of analytics and testing capabilities.
BlueModus migrated RILA’s site from SharePoint to Kentico 12 MVC, which is a CMS that could support their large site, with complex and personalized content presentation. It also now provides a multitude of beneficial capabilities, including flexible editing flow, the ability to host multiple individual domains and websites, the sharing of content between sites, advanced Google Analytics, and seamless integration with their Salesforce platform. Upon launch, a strong increase in time on site and decreased bounce rates was measured, plus RILA’s editors have saved a lot of time thanks to the flexible Kentico 12 MVC editing experience.
