BlueModus would like to congratulate seven of its colleagues who have all recently become Certified ScrumMasters (CSMs): Solution Lead Chris Bower, Senior Project Manager Jesse Hormachea, Associate Solution Lead Sandro Jankovic, Solution Lead Matias Penela, Senior Web Developer Todd Reed, and Associate Solution Lead Mark Wilson. With these additions, BlueModus currently boasts 17 Certified ScrumMasters, as well as one Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) and one Certified SAFe Practitioner.
A Certified ScrumMaster is the facilitator for an Agile team, which at BlueModus encompasses Strategists, Solution Leads, Project Managers, Designers, UX/UI Developers, Back-end Developers, QA Engineers and System Admins. In essence, the ScrumMaster manages the process for how information is exchanged, so teams can make changes quickly.
BlueModus promotes and practices an Agile methodology throughout its web development and solution process, which is focused on anticipating the need for flexibility and applies a level of pragmatism into the delivery of the finished product. Over the past few years, BlueModus has begun this cultural shift to fully embrace Agile throughout our Solution Delivery processes, which has included the introduction and expansion of Scum.
Scrum is a framework for project and team management that emphasizes teamwork, accountability and iterative progress toward a well-defined goal. The framework begins with a simple premise: Start with what can be seen or known. After that, track the progress and tweak as necessary. The three pillars of Scrum are transparency, inspection, and adaptation.
