Heather Galka, an experienced developer with over a decade of expertise in full-stack web development, is joining us as a Senior Web Developer. Heather’s extensive work history showcases her proficiency in a wide range of technologies, including .NET, React.js, Redux, IIS, SQL Server, JavaScript, and Git. Her experience, particularly in her recent roles, highlights her ability to excel in challenging and dynamic web development environments.
From June 2019 to July 2023, Heather served as a Senior Programmer at Americaneagle.com, where she played a pivotal role in several key projects. She led development efforts on multiple commerce sites, utilizing technologies such as C#, React.js, TypeScript, Redux, and SQL Server. In this role, she also mentored interns, conducted code reviews, and collaborated closely with project managers to provide clients with technical expertise and quotes.
Heather’s previous role as a Web Application Developer at Americaneagle.com from April 2013 to June 2019 was equally impressive. During this time, she enhanced both frontend and backend aspects of .NET websites using VB and JavaScript, worked with various Content Management Systems, managed development environments and repositories using Git and TFS, and built REST API endpoints. Her attention to detail and problem-solving skills were instrumental in ensuring the success of numerous releases.
