BlueModus Donates to Southeastern Guide Dogs

BlueModus, as part of its ongoing priority to give back to our community, recently made a $500 donation to the Southeastern Guide Dogs, a non-profit devoted to transforming lives by creating and nurturing extraordinary partnerships between people and dogs, throughout the United States, on behalf of our colleague, Justin Fouts.

With a national reach, Southeastern Guide Dogs trains dogs of the highest pedigree for people who are blind, veterans, and children. They provide their premier dogs and lifetime services at no cost. They have matched more than 3,200 guide and service dog teams since their 1982 inception and currently have over 1,200 dogs under their auspices.

Each month, BlueModus’ Management Team selects two colleagues to donate to a charity of their choice. It is a way to give back to our community and celebrate our colleagues, like Justin, who is a Web Development Lead on our team and has been a consistent rock star on many projects. His intelligence and creativity bring constant relief to his colleagues because he reliably handles whatever is thrown at him. His teammates love working with him and regularly say so.

“My wife, Courtney, and I have always had a love for dogs. Courtney was able to pursue that love and has been training guide dogs for three years now, and this is something that we have grown passionate about,” shares Justin Fouts. “Southeastern Guide Dogs does amazing work, and it is incredible seeing how these dogs touch people’s hearts and improve their lives.”
