We love to celebrate our colleagues, and we love giving back to our community – so several years ago, BlueModus decided to combine these two loves. Each month, our Management Team selects two colleagues who shine and represent the values that make BlueModus a great place to work. These two colleagues select a charity, and BlueModus donates on their behalf.

This month, one of those colleagues is Gene Byas. He is a Senior Web Developer and joined BlueModus in 2021. He works on a project team building and maintaining our clients’ websites, webstores, intranets, and web applications. Gene is a gifted technologist who brings value to our clients and goes above and beyond to support his team.

Recently, BlueModus made a $500 donation to Sacred Selections on behalf of Gene. Sacred Selections’ mission is to financially assist Christian couples whose hearts and homes are open to loving and raising a child. The foundation, its board, and many generous donors are committed to using the blessings they’ve received to assist in the wonderful effort in creating a Christian home and family. Since 2006, the adoption expenses for 402 children have been either fully or partially funded by Sacred Selections.

“I’ve attended sacred selection events in the past and know people involved with this charity,” shares Gene. “It’s so important for children to be raised in a caring environment where they can thrive. Sacred Selections is one way to ensure this happens by helping families with the unbelievably high expenses for adoption.”
