We love celebrating our colleagues and giving back to our community, so we combined these two loves several years ago. Each month, BlueModus’ Management Team selects two colleagues who shine and represent the values that make this a great workplace. These two colleagues select a charity, and we donate to it on their behalf.
For December 2022, one of those colleagues is Krystal Crowe. She joined BlueModus in April 2022 as a Strategic Director and works on one of our project teams, helping our clients to roadmap short- and long-term strategies. She is being recognized because of the tremendous value she brings to our clients and team as a product owner.
Krystal has selected Nova Counseling Services, Inc. for a $500 donation from BlueModus on his behalf. Nova Counseling Services is a State of Wisconsin-licensed provider of medically monitored treatment for people suffering from alcoholism and other drug addictions. It exists to provide the highest quality care at the lowest possible cost to chemically dependent persons and their families.
“I have served on the board for Nova for nearly ten years,” shares Krystal. “As a person in recovery, these services are critical to our communities and save the lives of friends and family. Nova is unique because they take a non-medical, holistic approach that helps its clients heal the root of the problem, which is mental illness. Rather than using other medications to mask the addiction.”
Treatment at Nova is for individuals who have lost control of their lives and need a safe, structured environment to learn about their addiction. Nova provides therapy to change the behaviors that accompany chemical dependency. Its compassionate, dedicated staff includes counselors who have personally suffered from addiction. Nova provides addiction treatment in various ways, including Nova’s residential inpatient rehab program, a 90-day halfway house (Terra Program), and other elements of aftercare.
