BlueModus Donates to Angel Foundation

Recently, BlueModus made a $500 donation to the Angel Foundation, a Minnesota-based nonprofit providing support to local adults with cancer and their families, selected by and on behalf of our colleague, Dave Bromeland.

Each month, Management Team at BlueModus selects two colleagues who have gone above and beyond for our clients or our team. These two colleagues are allowed to select a charity for a donation. It is our way to give back to our community and celebrate our incredible colleagues, like Dave Bromeland, a Senior Solution Lead at BlueModus. Dave is not only an incredible colleague but also an incredible person. He works incredibly hard to ensure the success of our clients and his team. He is a pleasure to work with, and we are fortunate to have him on our team.

For nearly twenty years, the Angel Foundation’s programs have helped families facing cancer find more everyday moments of joy. Their Emergency Financial Assistance program provides financial support to adults in active treatment for cancer, living in or treated in the seven-county Minnesota Twin Cities area. This program assists with non-medical basic needs such as groceries, gas, utilities, and housing payments. The Facing Cancer Together program gives parents and caregivers the tools they need to parent through cancer. Kid-friendly activities provide education, emotional support, and social experiences for the entire family.

Since 2001, showing a proven approach to addressing critical issues, Angel Foundation has distributed more than $9 million in emergency financial assistance and provided nearly 30,000 program services to local adults with cancer and their families.

“After my wife’s breast cancer diagnosis last fall, the Angel Foundation sent backpacks of goodies for all our kids. The age-appropriate materials explained what cancer is and what treatment would be like for their mom. Each bag came with a stuffed animal sporting port scars to help the kids identify with what their mom was going through,” shared Dave. “I would like to be able to give back to this organization, so they can continue to help other families as they did mine.”
