Earlier this week, a group of BlueModus colleagues convened in Nashville, Tennessee, for the third event in a series of summer meet-ups in different cities. Colleagues who usually work from home offices got the opportunity to connect with each other face-to-face to enjoy a day of team bonding, food, and fun.
As BlueModus has seen steady growth over the past several years, many remote colleagues have joined the company. For this gathering, nine team members based in seven different states (Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, North Carolina, Indiana, West Virginia, and Michigan), were joined by several Denver-based colleagues, to take part in a full day of fun group activities.
“BlueModus does an amazing job of making remote colleagues feel like they are part of the full team, and our new regional events are a great way of doing that,” says Director of Strategic Solutions Meredith Perkins-Lehman. “Nashville was a great city to host team members for some fun! I enjoyed meeting some of our newer colleagues as well as seeing some familiar faces. We had some incredible food and saw a ton of the city, but most importantly had a great bonding experience.”
The day’s events included a walking tour around the city of Nashville, lunch at the Ole Smoky Distillery, a visit to the Johnny Cash Museum, and a tour of the Hatch Show Print shop.
“Nashville was a blast! A lot of the colleagues that attended the trip are on various projects across the company, so it was great spending time with team members I often don’t get to interact with on a daily basis,” shares Senior Web Developer David Rector, “And getting to see Nashville for the first time, from the Hatch Print Tour to the Johnny Cash Museum, was a ton of fun.”
Following the recent success of events in Nashville, Austin, and Seattle, BlueModus team members are now looking forward to another upcoming get-together in Tampa. To learn more about the recent achievements of our BlueModus team members, please check out our latest team articles.
