We love celebrating our colleagues and giving back to our community, so we combined these two passions several years ago. BlueModus' Management Team selects two colleagues each month who represent the values that make this a great place to work. Each of these colleagues selects a charity, and we donate on their behalf.

For June 2023, one of those colleagues is Calvin Chopp. Calvin joined BlueModus in March 2023 as a Design Lead and immediately showed value to our clients and team. Calvin is hard-working, a gifted designer, and has an incredible talent for user experience.  

Calvin has selected Safe Harbor Children's Advocacy Center of Michigan for a $500 donation from BlueModus. Safe Harbor is a nationally accredited nonprofit organization that provides children with hope and healing through counseling and no-cost services to the victims or their families.

"This charity is important to me because kids matter; getting support, mentors, and the opportunities they deserve is worth investing in. I was blessed to have great support systems as a child, and Safe Harbor helps fill those gaps for those kids who don't have that," shares Calvin.

Safe Harbor provides a place where children are heard and healed in Allegan, Barry, and Van Buren Counties of Michigan. Its' services start with prevention, then intervention, and finally treatment. Its' centralized, welcoming environment allows the Safe Harbor Team to provide child-friendly prevention education, forensic interviews, counseling, medical evaluations, victim advocacy, court advocacy, and adult training. From a child's initial disclosure to their last day of counseling, Safe Harbor guides children through their healing journey.
