BlueModus Gives Back to Alzheimer’s Association

This month, BlueModus has donated $1,000 to the Alzheimer’s Association, as part of an ongoing program to give back to the community. As the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer's care, support, and research, the Association’s mission is to eliminate Alzheimer's disease through advancing research, providing and enhancing care and support for all affected, and reducing the risk of dementia through promotion of brain health.

The Alzheimer’s Association works to provide care and support for all those affected by Alzheimer’s as well as other dementias, on global, national and local levels. Additionally, as the largest nonprofit funder of Alzheimer's research, they are committed to accelerating the progress of new treatments, preventions, and ultimately, a cure. As the leading voice for advocacy of the disease, they fight for critical research, prevention and care initiatives at the state and federal level.

“My grandmother suffered from Alzheimer’s for the last 7+ years of her life, and our family saw first-hand the debilitating effects of this terrible disease. No one should lose their cherished life memories and surrounding loved ones should not have to see a person slowly fade away,” says BlueModus Solution Lead Matías Penela, who selected this month’s charity. “For this reason, I chose to donate to the Association’s cause, in hopes to one day make Alzheimer’s a thing of the past.”

The rest of the BlueModus is equally honored to support the Alzheimer’s Association, having collaborated closely with organization to launch their latest web platform last year. If you’d like to learn about the Alzheimer’s Association, visit their website at https://www.alz.org.
