We love to celebrate our colleagues, and we love giving back to our community – so several years ago, BlueModus decided to combine these two loves. Each month, our Management Team selects two colleagues who shine and represent the values that make BlueModus a great place to work. These two colleagues select a charity, and BlueModus donates on their behalf.

This month, one of those colleagues is Justin Sanders, a Strategic Director on our team. Justin works directly with our clients, serving as a mix of product owner, strategic consultant, and account manager. We appreciate most about Justin not only his ability to help our clients but also his ability to create high-functioning teams within BlueModus. This helps to ensure his clients’ business requirements are translated into technical solutions that solve actual client problems.

Recently, BlueModus made a $500 donation to The Beacon on behalf of Justin. The Beacon is a non-profit organization that serves the Houston, Texas, homeless community through daily services, civil legal aid, counseling, mentoring, and access to housing. Its mission is to provide essential and next-step services to restore hope and help end homelessness throughout the Houston area.

“With housing costs hitting all-time highs and economic inequality growing rapidly, I think we have all seen firsthand the hardships that our unhoused neighbors are experiencing every day,” shares Justin. “The Beacon is dedicated to providing aid and services to restore hope and end homelessness in Houston, Texas. Thanks to BlueModus for supporting such a worthwhile cause.”

Services provided by the Beacon include housing assessments and rental assistance, access to laundry services, showers, hot lunches, civil legal aid, mail privileges, healthcare services, and access to public transportation.
