This holiday season, BlueModus colleagues have shown their generosity by participating in our company’s annual canned food drive, in order to benefit those in greatest need. Throughout the first half of November, our team members donated more than 250 cans and boxes of non-perishable food to benefit Community Table, an organization that provides hunger relief services to Denver-area individuals and families. As part of this company-wide effort, more than $200 in cash donations were made by colleagues, along with a $500 contribution from BlueModus itself.
The BlueModus team was eager to help, particularly during this Thanksgiving season.
“It’s great to be a part of this generous group of people,” shares Senior Project Manager Lauren Baker. “Especially knowing that this food and money will help a lot of local people in need over the months to come.”
Jen Wolke, Senior Web Developer adds, "One of the things that originally attracted me to BlueModus is the commitment to giving back. This is just one of the many causes we support, and I was happy to contribute."
The Community Table (formerly known as the Arvada Community Food Bank) offers a variety of hunger relief and self-sustainability programs to those in need. The $700 provided by BlueModus and its colleagues is enough to provide once-a-month, emergency food for a family of 4 for an entire year.
