BlueModus is pleased to welcome Jacksonville, FL-based Tyler Buchanan to our Technical Team as a Senior Web Developer. Tyler has built software solutions using Microsoft technology for five years. His experience includes building custom client integrations for a financial management platform, building and maintaining websites with Umbraco, creating new features for an e-commerce website, and building custom software for clients in an agency environment. Tyler also has experience with providing front-end support. You will likely find Tyler playing video games, mudding/off-roading, motorsports, and watching Formula 1 racing when he is not writing code.
“The first thing that stood out to me was how important career development and opportunity is to BlueModus. There is a strong sense of collaboration and transparency. Everybody I spoke to in the interviews seemed to be doing the type of work they wanted to do the most, and I think that brings out the best in you,” shares Tyler.
Since 2019, Tyler has been working at Venus Fashion, Inc., an online and catalog retailer. He started as a Web Developer and was a senior software engineer most recently. Tyler’s responsibilities included implementing new features, fixing bugs, and maintaining legacy features for the venus.com website using Visual Basic and C# on the .NET Framework. Before Venus, he was a Web Developer at Station Four, a full-service digital agency. Tyler built websites using the Umbraco and Sitefinity content management systems at Station Four.
