Sandro Jankovic Earns Microsoft Azure Developer Associate Certification

Congratulations to BlueModus Development Director Sandro Jankovic, who recently earned his Microsoft Azure Developer certification. Technologists achieving this certification must demonstrate subject matter expertise in designing, building, testing, and maintaining cloud applications and services on Microsoft Azure. In his role as Development Director, Sandro leads a team of Solution Leads, Web Development Leads, Web Developers, UX/UI Developers, and QA Engineers focused on building and maintaining medium to large websites, webstores, and intranets – many of which are closed in the cloud on Microsoft Azure.

“The vast service offering, and unlimited scaling possibilities, make Azure an invaluable platform for our projects. However, being able to leverage Azure fully and all it has to offer requires a broad understanding of the platform, as there are overlapping technologies, with specific advantages and disadvantages, that could work but may not be an ideal fit for a project; learning how to make those distinctions is what the AZ-204 certification was designed. While we are and have been Azure “power-users” for a long time, the exercise of getting the AZ-204 certificate has given me more clarity and a higher degree of confidence that I am making informed architectural decisions,” says Sandro Jankovic.

Microsoft Azure Developer certification requires at least one to two years of professional development experience and experience with Microsoft Azure. In addition, the candidate for this certification must have the ability to program in a language supported by Azure and proficiency in Azure SDKs, Azure PowerShell, Azure CLI, data storage options, data connections, APIs, app authentication and authorization, compute and container deployment, debugging, performance tuning, and monitoring.

“Sandro masters the technologies our customers need. We’ve helped customers create sophisticated solutions using a variety of Azure products, including App Service, Azure Form Recognizer, and Azure Functions. This certificate reflects Sandro’s commitment to providing the best technical guidance,” says BlueModus’ Vice President of Technology Mike Wills.
