Laurie Brown Brings Program Management & Strategy Experience to BlueModus

We are excited to welcome Kansas City, Missouri-based Laurie Brown to BlueModus as a Strategic Director. In her career, she has led programs involving customer acquisition, marketing strategy, communication planning, program implementation, vendor contracting, forecasting, and budget management. At BlueModus, Laurie will be working directly with clients as a product owner, strategic consultant, and account manager, helping to ensure BlueModus is proactively meeting each client’s business objectives.

“We are thrilled to have Laurie join our team. Her skill set and experience align perfectly with the complex needs and challenges that this role demands. I am confident she will substantially impact the overall success of our projects and clients,” says Katie Tabler, BlueModus’ Managing Director.

Since 2019, Laurie has been the Program Manager at the private philanthropy organization, the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation. At Kauffman Foundation, she directed operations for the Kauffman FastTrac and 1 Million Cups programs. She managed a team of four direct reports and eight contractors to deliver high-quality care to 260 program sites and over 150,000 annual participants. Before joining the Kauffman Foundation, Laurie served as a Strategic Engagements Program Specialist for the non-profit American Academy of Family Physicians. Earlier, she served as Director of Operational Strategy for Wellington, a strategic marketing and events agency.

“In each conversation, the BlueModus team spoke about the open, honest culture. I look forward to working with a team focused on bringing the best of their experiences to help the clients,“ shares Laurie.
