During the month of December, BlueModus colleagues conducted a toy drive, in what has become a wonderful annual tradition for the company. This year, our team set a new donation record by generously bringing in more than 330 toys, which have been dropped off to the Denver-area Together 4 Colorado Toy Drive, which benefits the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver.
The goal of the Together 4 Colorado Toy Drive is to ensure that every child and teen served by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver is able to open a gift this holiday season. The Toy Drive is also great way to show kids how much the community cares about them and share the joy of the giving season.
Not only did Denver-area colleagues provide donations, many remote colleagues also participated by purchasing toys online and having them shipped to Denver. Director of Strategy Dylan Thomas, based in the Nashville area, was inspired by the generosity of BlueModus colleagues, and used it as an opportunity to involve his own kids, as well as donate locally.
“I gave them each a budget and took them shopping,” shares Dylan. “They were very thoughtful about the gifts they selected and really tried to make the most of their money. My kids enjoyed it so much that they already asked if we could do it again next year.”
Thanks to our team members for their giving spirit this holiday season! The Together for Colorado Toy Drive is going on through December 24th this year, so if you’re in the Denver area, see details here on how you can still drop off toys.
