Challenge
In addition to upgrading their website to Kentico Xperience’s MVC platform, Yukon Workers' Compensation Health and Safety Board (YWCHSB) also wanted to update their design, make their website fully responsive, and streamline the user experience, focusing on more intuitive navigation and robust search to get users quickly to online forms, workplace-related content, and policy information - without disrupting entrenched user patterns.
Solution
From the start, it was critical for the BlueModus team to understand how YWCHSB and their users utilized their current website, so we could help optimize the experience for all users. With three distinct audiences - Workers, Employers, Service Providers – we need ways for each group to quickly find the forms, policy, and health, and safety content they need – while enabling increased self-service options.
We worked closely with the stakeholders at YWCHSB through information architecture, wireframes, and design to ensure we were creating a solution that met the needs to the business and their users. From this collaboration, we were able to create a user-experience focused on the most common scenarios with a more prominent search, while updating their brand and migrating the site to Kentico Xperience’s MVC platform.
